Hi I am working on my 96 Ford Explorer. Last week had my fuel pump go out on me while out with my family. I am having an issue trying to get the filler and vent hoses off of the fuel tank. It isn't a normal worm drive hose clamp. Looks like another compression fitting like is located on the fuel filter. Has anyone seen anything like this. I am not able to lower the fuel tank far enough with these hoses connected. Would anyone out there have any ideas. Also had only gone 35 miles since filling up. Would really like to try and get some of the fuel out since it would easier to try and handle. If anyone would have anything to help? Thank you
