so yesterday it was -24 out and i was at a 1/8 tank of fuel so stop by the gas station and put nozzle in and jump back in the x and about 30 seconds later it dies. lol thought maybe a got some water with the fuel so i got dragged to the shop and let it warm up. nothing. checked fuel pressure not anything there. so put jumper wire in the fuel pump relay nothing. so i pull the fuel tank down to look at fuel pump and wiring. (a full tank isn't that hard to pull on these at all.) pulled pump and jumped it to battery and ran good. checked wiring and had ground but no power. checked the safety switch and it wasn't tripped and i was like wtf. i figured i'd pull the connector at the safety switch and see if it wasn't making connection and could not believe it when it was fully plugged in all the way. damn 3 hours for a connector. lol but i did put a new sock on the pump so all is good.
Now is fuel pressure at idle suppose to be 32 psi on a 97 5.0 awd?
