97=98 or 99 or 00 or 01?

In my quest to find a very low mileage front and rear axle for my 97 Sport OHV, I am being told by a few that a 97 to 01 axles will interchange, can anyone confirm this for me?
Also, does the Sport-Trak use the same axles?

97-00 Will interchange for sure. Make sure they're the same ratio.

BTW, why are you changing axles?

What about an 01? (Sport Trak) found one in a bone yard with 5K from a 01 Sport Trak
Changing axles to change from 3.27 to 3.73...better towing.

The Sport Trac Axles, should be the same, too. You also have a pretty good chance at the gears being 4.10; as that many of them are (especially w/ the 16" wheels). Not sure if it's real $$ effective.
