SO here is where i am at now.
Swapped out bellhousing from other box to utilise the oil pump as the other one had crapped out.
All back together and got it all pumping through and got the car moving was moving going through gears great.
Took it up the road to blow the cobwebs out and got a bout 2 miles and car seemed to go into neutral no gears checked transmission coolant line nothing pumping through again...
Any suggestions woud be great.
drdoom is correct, if it is a 4X4 you must use a 4x4 filter the fluid pick up on the 2wd filter is to short in a 4x4 pan. Also are you checking the fluid level with the engine running and in park?
From looking at the posts on this thread it seems like your tranny likes to destroy it's ATF pumps. Do you think there could be a blockage in one of the passages doing that?
I wonder if the valve body gasket blowing out would cause this issue, with the fluid coming out between the valve body mating surfaces instead of running through the tranny cooler hose where you can see it?
