97 XLT AWD V8? $$
I currently own a 93 XLT with close to 100K miles on it. I have only owned it for about 2 years and have probably spent around 2K just on maintenance for it. From vacuum modulators to starters,
My uncle offered to sell me his 97 XLT AWD V8 with 40K miles on it for $12,000. Its pretty much fully loaded fair condition. Do you think this is good price more importantly a good truck?
In the long run will it save me money over the 93xlt. I took the 97 for a ride this weekend and it handles much better then my 93 and the pick up is noticeable better.
One more think I'm 19 currently paying about $1,800 a year for insurance with the 93truck in my dads name (in NJ) From what you guys have found how much of a price difference do you think I'm looking at with insurance?
