Hey guys,
Just picked up a '98 awd mounty w/ 130k on it. Looks like the factory shocks are STILL on it! Based on everyones recommendations in other threads, I wanted to go with Bilsteins.
The problem is, I've seen people speak of self-leveling suspension, and how the bilsteins won't work for that application :
PART#'S B46-2133-H0 FRONT; B46-2134-H0 REAR
I'm really not quite sure as to how to tell if i've got the 'self-leveling' suspension - if it would be airbag based, I know i dont have it...otherwise how can I tell? All four shocks are bluish in color...does that answer the question in itself?
Also, I was looking for an 'axle wrap' shock or some sort of horizontal component at the front end....didn't see anything - was this optional as well?
thanks...
