98 Explorer 5.0 Front Engine Dress

Does anyone know offhand if the 5.0 in the 98 Explorer is the same as the 94-95 Mustang 5.0 or the 93 and older Mustang 5.0? I'm thinking of a Vortech and I have an V2 S-Trim pulled from my olf Cobra with brackets for both Mustang engine styles. I'd sure like to be able to use what I've got rather than buying another $700 set of brackets!

none of the brackets will interchange. you have only 2 choices....

1- try to get ahold of and adapt a set of Powerdyne brackets

2- make your own.

the explo front accessories are totally different than both 88-93 and 94-95 stang. they will not work with 5 liter "truck" brackets, either. powerdyne makes the only centrifugal kit for the 5 liter explo in the known world. best bet would be to make your own.
