98 explorer electrical issues

I have a 98 Explorer EB V8. my lights on my truck come on when i turn the key and stay on when the key is removed also after driving the power windows will still work even when the key is removed. i believe this is the cause of my battery draining which causes a low battery symbol on the dash. has anyone had a similar problem? if so did you fix it and how?

IDK about the headlights staying on unless you have the Autolight feature (slide bar on bottom of rear view mirror) but the power windows retain power until you open a door. That's normal.
