I have a 98 Explorer w/5 liter engine. Are the heater hoses molded? I planned to replace them while the heater/evap plenum was out and using standard heater hose, I find the bends too sharp. The hose tends to crimp. I have searched ford online parts but don't find a listing for molded hoses.
Any help would be appreciated.

Heater hoses for the 5.0 L (302 cid) engine are formed and the part numbers are: F77Z-18472-JC and F77Z-18472-KB. I could not find them at a part store. One dealer quoted me $51 for both and another was $21 for both. I did have an "in" at the second dealer.
Any help would be appreciated.
