Besides the actual plastic piece (bumper cover) you need the meat of it (the metal reinforcement) then you need all the screws and whatnot which attach the bumper cover to the reinforcement. After that, you pull the old bumper from the frame and bolt the new one up, it is that simple, just make sure it is centered before you tighten it.
How much did it cost you? I have been thinking about doing this for a while. I was hoping I only needed the cover. Guess this will cost me more than I thought.
i got the whole 2000 bumper on ebay for $250. i got a good deal. thats cover and reinforcement already together so when i got it i just had to take the old one off and slip the new one on. real easy, just 4 big bolts.
Ewww!! Look at those swirls!! You need a SMR to get that stuff out!! After that, clay, dawn wash, Klasse AIO and SG and your truck will look brand spankin' new. Trust me. I've done this before.
I know...this is the first time the truck has been washed at all since the repaint. I didn't have much time so that's all I did. This weekend I'm getting down to business with it.
