99 4x4 XLS low miles with tons of problems.

Thanks guys I appreciate all the input, I will try to get a new thermostat and change it out as soon as possible! I'll post an update when I get it done. Now to my next question. Everytime I get in my truck there is a nasty creaking and it squeals whenever I turn the wheel and it's only on the drivers side.
1. I am pretty sure, but I believe it is the ball joint on the drivers side.
2. I have read that there is no grease fittings on any of the ford parts, but is there a good thread on here that explains how to install the aftermarket fittings or is it easier to just replace the ball joint (assuming that that is the problem). Thanks for all the help it is truly appreciated.

HELP!!! Factory Audio System Upgrade

Hey there,
I have a 99 xls with the factory audio system. I went to the local pull-a-part this weekend and found a 99 xlt with the jbl premium system in the back. I pulled it out and was able to get the complete wiring (including the plug) that connects under the glove box on the passenger side. I was wondering if anyone had experience in putting one of these systems into an ex that didn't come with one. I love the look of not having a giant box and stuff because I like to haul things so I am pretty excited and hope it is as easy as plugging it in at the same point where I took it out. I'll check back often to give any information that is needed!
