Hello, desperately need some help.

Just purchased a 99 5.0 explorer, the guy I got it from just relaxed the MAF, coil pack and plugs said it still would start chugging out after driving for 10 to 15 min. So we thought the cats where plugged. Removed them. Ran well for a while then started doing it again but worse. Got to the point couldn't go a quarter mile with out pulling over and shuting the truck off. Then one morning it wouldn't even start. So we replaced temp sensors, fired right up but every time i hit the gas it would start to bog down again. Then the crank sensor, still no go. Next we are going to the fuel regilator. Just wondering if any one has something along the lines happen to them. Any inside will help

Thanks for your time,
C.

What testing have you done in the middle of replacing all of the parts?

Fuel pressure, must be over 62psi all the time.

Without at least the front cats it will never run well.

Stop throwing parts at it! Time to DIAGNOSE the issue
Is the check engine light on?
How many miles on the truck?
Sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me TEST FUEL PRESSURE

If the cats were plugged up you would likely get some catalyst efficiency codes in the computer - Check engine light and or smell sulfur. If the cats plug up it usually means an injector is stuck open or not spraying properly (low fuel rail pressure). So before you do anything else you need to check fuel pressure and read the computer codes!!
Otherwise you are guessing with $$$$ and it will take alot of parts and $$$$ before you find the actual issue that is a long expensive road

Have you checked for a vacuum leak.

There are parts that won't leak until they heat up, and the issue would continually get worse.

Have you made sure there isn't any coolant in the oil and the other way.

I had a car once that ran fine until it warmed up, ended up being the head gasket.

Check fuel pressure, and replace the filter if not already done. I had an Explorer with no cats, ran fine, so if you've removed the cats to no avail, they're likely okay.

Without cats, and o2 sensors seeing rate of change your fuel mixture will never be correct and just a guess from the computer, much like being in limp mode.
