Hello,
I currently have a 99 OHV vehicle with the 5R55E transmission and would like to replace the motor with a SOHC from a 2000 year. I have the SOHC motor, transmission, transfer case, and computer from the 2000 year sitting. Is the conversion possible and can the computer be just replaced without any wiring changes but direct plug in the 99 year. Is there anything to be aware of. I also heard that PATS can be somehow defeated.
