99 sohc auto fluid level>? help please

i have a 99 sohc auto i did a trans swap and started filling it with fluid .i was able to drain cooler,i put 5 quarts of fluid in it already and still no reading on the stick.the fluid is not on the ground or in the radiator so where is it going .any help would greatly appreciated

Transmision holds at least 10 qts so add more and keep checking it.

Most automatic transmissions in this size range hold about 10 qts. so it's not a lot.
 












total system capacity is almost 13 qts

In my Ford service manual it says 9.8-10.3 qts.

Special Operating Conditions Change the fluid at 48,000 km (30,000 miles) intervals. Use MERCON ® V; Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-5-QM meeting Ford MERCON ® V specification.
Sustained high speed driving during hot weather 32°C (90°F)
Towing a trailer for long distances over 1600 km (1000 miles)
Accumulating 8000 km (5000 miles) or more in one month.
Continuous running service.

So i filled it up and went to test it uot and the trans is non responsive i checked all the obvious culprits and still nothing anybody got a suggestion?
