OK, here is what happens...
the engine will start to bogg down like it is not getting any fuel. If I step on the gas it will hesitate and then be fine. This has happened at a full stop while in drive and just last night it did it while going about 40-45 on the highway.
Extra symptoms(sp)...
first time it did this the engine light started blinking and then went off. My idle has gone from about 700-900 down to 500-600.
Posible causes...
I sucked some water into my intake about three months ago, but after it dried out it ran fine. I have a K/N airfilter and when I "recharge" it I spray the oil on both sides and when I looked at my intake hose last night there is now a thin layer of K/N oil all down the pipe and on that little sensor that hangs down in the intake tube.
Posible remedies...
I have to change my starter out this weekend, so I am going to clean the K/N and only spray oil on the intake side this time. I am also going to wipe down the entire intake hose and throtle body (what should I use to clean the intake tube and throtle body???).
If anyone has any suggestions or advise please... feel free.
