99 Sport, Muffler Dual in/Single Out...

Now does that mean that it has two catlytic converters? That would make it quite easy to do a true dual system w/ two mufflers then, right?

There really isn't that much room under there, but it's possible.
 






not exactly easy, because the stock pipes with the cats in them both head over to the passenger side
But yes it can be done
 






I don't know how much less length is in a Sport, but there is plenty of width and height for two mufflers side by side(at an angle).

The hard part is routing the left tailpipe past the left brake line, and emisions hose. Good luck, I'll be making my own twin 2.25" pipes later.

The Sport is about 11" shorter than a 4 dr . I just had a SS dual exhaust put on my Sport and there isn't much room .. unless you like it loud and plan on glass packs. The mufflers were put on side by side vertically so they hang down quite a bit. I chose to have both pipes (2 1/4") routed out the right rear mainly because it was easier, looked different and was less pipe to run. JM .02 cents.
