99 XL buzz noise from multifunction switch

as i was test driving the car today, i noticed that there is a audible and physical "buzz" coming from the multifunction switch. it only seems to do it when i am signaling a lane change, and only left. i am not pushing the lever all the way into the "click" spot, just enough to flash it. the buzz stops as soon as i release the switch.

whats the deal?

The multifunction switch is bad and needs to be replaced. It's a common thing on 2nd gen Xs. It's easy to do and costs about $57 for a new one.
