A/C clutch replacement.

Hey Everybody !
New member and new Explorer(used 2002) owner,and actually the first non-car of my 30+ years of driving. It is in great shape,was garaged kept and has 86,000 miles. The body and interior are in great shape also and is mechanically sound except for 2 small issues. The a/c is out,apperars to be the clutch, and the horn doesn't work,it seems to be blowing a fuse when used.
The a/c cutch is going to be replaced by myself and a friend who is very experienced in car repair but has never replaced one. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated-on either subject- Thanks !

i'm replacing my a/c clutch this week too and had the same question... i read online that you have to have the special clutch "undo-er" tool... but i don't wanna buy that tool for a one-time use. is there any other way to get that dern thing off?!

Autozone might have the tool under their tool loaning program.
