A little lift

Howdy!!

I have an 01 edge 2wd super cap 4.0 with torsion bars. I want to lift the truck 1" maybe 1.5". Do I have to buy some sort of kit? Can I just twist the bars to raise the front and then have it aligned? Or is there some sort of part that I can make to bypass the outlay of cash for a kit? Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks, Aaron.

yeah, u can twist the front torsion bars. usually u can get 1.5". and a shackle lift for the rear can get u an inch or 2. all its gonna cost u is an alignment and the $40 for the shackles

Ride Height

Cool, thanks for the info Isuzu, do you know what the ride height is for the front end of my 01 ranger 2wd edge with torsion bars. I mean, what is the factory specification and how do I measure it? Thank y'all.

not positive, but i believe its around 7.5" ground clearance at the front "axle".
