Ok ! Got 02 Explorer XLT 4dr 4x4 4.0 I'm thinking about getting a Sport Trac 4d 4x4 V8 to put under my 02 Explorer non sport Trac ...Would this work ? I figure the rear body mounts might have to be reworked but don't know about the electrical. I really like the idea of having a solid rear axle and a true lift kit... The other is my wife's baby her 75 240 Desiel 4spd manual 4door Benz... Taking the 02 chasis and chop it down about 5" all the 4x4 parts , 4 wheel disc brake, transfercase if I can. But being a electronic control transfercase can I get it to work without all the 02 electronic's . I would like to keep this car all manual with no electronic"s...
