Hi all...swapping the C5 into my '94 and have a few remaining questions before I start bolting it in. The shift linkage on the c-5 and a4ld are almost the same but the arm on the c5 is up and the arm on the a4ld is down. The both shift in the same direction rotation wise but is there anyway to swap the two so that the c5 operates in the same direction as the a4ld? Also, what is the plastic piece with 4 wires coming out of it on the c5? I removed the trans before I looked at the other end and the truck is gone now. Lastly, what are the two electrical connections on the a4ld that plug in near the shift linkage? What do I do with the existing harness on the explorer if they do not plug into anything now? Thanks for listening to my rambling questions..... I will post a few pictures on my web site under 'transmission swap' Go to www.respecki.net see what I mean since for some reason I cannot post pictures here.
