OK need some help with this one. My wifes 95 explorer sport just had the ABS light come on while she was just driving down the street any idea on what it could be and what it might take to get it fixed. Thanks

Believe it or not, this could be an indicator of a worn from hub. I would check them first by jacking up the front wheels and checking for excessive play.

Then check the abs sensor connectors-You should see a wire going from the hub to a connector in the radiator support area. Disconnect and reconnect them to re-seat the connection

The rear abs sensor is in the rear differential. There is a wire connector right on top of the pumpkin, this is the abs sensor.

After checking the above, if the abs light is still present you might be able to remove the sensors and clean them.

ok from what i can tell from other posts i've seen I need to know if I can drive on the car or are the wheels going to fall off.
