bad sensor. there are lots of threads on this. if it's your rear sensor, all it will cost you is $20 bucks and a half-hour to change it. It's on top of the rear axle. i have a 2000 and mine puked out last summer at around 110K miles. you're due, i'm sure.
The ABS light on my 96 X has been on since I bought it 2 years ago. Is the sensor on top of the rear axle housing easy to get to? What does it look like? Can I get the sensor at AutoZone or PepBoys or is it a dealership item?
