Anyone have the ABS light come on after the vehicle has gone through the car wash? My guess is that there is a sensor that is getting wet and causeing a short or something. Any ideas on what to check or look for? I ask this because after driving through a snow storm last week, I stopped for groceries. Got back out, started the truck - and the light came on. Yes, when the light is on, the ABS system is disabled. It seems when the vehicle has time to "dry", either through being driven or shelterd overnight, the system resumes normal function and the light does not come on. Your suggestions?

Obviously water is getting inside the connections somewhere. Get some dielectric grease at the auto parts store, unplug sensor(s), put a little grease in the plug, reconnect. I'm a 2nd gen guy, not sure if you have ABS front and rear or not, but do this at all sensor connections and you should be all set.

Thanks for the reply! Q - Can I unplug the sensor w/o taking the wheel and disk off? Just asking...

Yes, follow the wires from the wheel end up the brake line until you find the connector. If I remember the actual connector is accesible from the engine bay. Look at the frame rails near the spring towers.
