I was wondering if there would be any way to test to make sure that my clutch is bad before trying to replace it I charged the freeon and the gauge shows that it is full and holding pressure, a friend opened the hood and said aww Your cluth isn't working and will need to be repalaced, How do I know this for sure, It seems to blow warm air even when it is cool in the mornings thinking that it might have something to do with the AC control panel switch

With the engine running Jump the ac pressure switch and see if the compressor clutch engages. if it does and it is not making scraping sounds then it is most likely ok. I would then consider the ac pressure switch being bad or the system is low on refrigerant.
(on a note when testing the pressure of the charge my understanding is that the compressor must be running )

Hope this helps:salute:
