AC Removal, Bracket on top of PS Pump

I removed all the AC components and now run a shorter belt. Is it possible to remove the bracket that sits on top of the power steering pump without removing the pump? If I have to remove the pump, I might as well replace it with a new one.

What bracket? ? You mean the ac pump that sits ontop the ps?

I think you can take the bracket off. I don't recall there being anything connected to it, but it bolts up to the drives side head with 3 long bolts, and 1 short one, IIRC.
