I have the short Pro Comp aal on my '92. I love it, it reduced body roll, nose dive, and the bouncy feeling of the stock suspension. I also installed the aal for towing purposes. I just towed a 4,100lb boat/trailer for about 7 hours. The ride was significantly better, no more having the boat bounce me down the road. I don't know if your rear suspension is sagging or not, if it is you may want to go with the long aal for the lift. My suspension was not sagging and the short aal only lifted the rear about 1". I didn't lift the front and I love the stance of the truck right now. It's more aggressive because the truck has a slight tilt forward. So I recommend the short aal, the long aal might have too stiff of a ride. I don't know what you're going to tow though, if it has a very heavy tongue weight you may want the long aal. If you decide you need the long aal it may be cheaper if you just go to a junkyard and pull apart an F-150 spring pack and use one of the springs.
