Adding LED strip to under dash

Wanting to add an LED stroip under my dash, only problem is I want it to automagically(automatically) come on the when the doors or hatch is. where is the wire to tap? and how hard is it to do?

Okay so went out and bought them and have them in place, but I still don't know abuout how to go making them come on with the dome for the door ajar. Anyone know what color wire it is? or where its at?

i would say just look at the door jam and follow the sensor wires. or tap into the wires where the switch is on the door and run them to where you want them to be
