This is for a 1994 Ford Explorer, running the stock 4.0L engine.
I have dug around the forum and read what I could but wanted a second opinion from you all before I go ripping into this project.
I want to put in aftermarket ISSPRO EV2 gauges (Coolant temp, Oil Pressure and Volt meter).
I am also doing a Transmission Temp gauge/sensor set up.
When you all have done the Coolant / Oil sensors did you use the existing ports that the stock dumb dash gauges are hooked up to.
I just don't trust the stock dash gauges anymore and since this is becoming more of an off-road rig I want to know whats really going on.
The gauges I have figured out (Coolant / Oil / Volt are going on the A pillar and the Transmission is going in a steering column pod)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Two choices
Use the stock ports and disable the factory oil and coolant gauge,
Or find a new port for your coolant temp sender and run a tee off the oil port.. this way both the factory gauge and your new gauges will work

I like option two
May have to drill a port for a second coolant sensor the oil port you gotta fab up some sort of metal tee
Not sure if the 4.0 has an existing second oil port that can be opened or not
