Aftermarket keyless entry

This is probably a dumb question but. I believe that my explorer didn't come factory with keyless entry cause the remote that I got with it don't look like any of the square ford remotes. That is why it won't go into program mode. My question is this. There is a shop where I live that installs them. If I have him put a new one in it won't have any conflicts with the anti-theft system will it? I think who ever put the after market one in didn't now what they was doing since all it does is lock the doors. The horn dosent sound at all.

It could just be an aftermarket keyeless entry system - no alarm. A shop should be able to work around it if you want an alarm with keyeless entry. I reccomend DEI (Viper, Rattler, AutoMate...) systems.
