I have not. I don't even know what a vss is but a ton of people have installed them. Try searching for your model head unit or "AVIC D3" or "AVIC D2" or "Eclipse" for starters. There are a lot more out there than that but I can't remember them off-hand. Also, if you happen to have an AVIC, try avic911.com for additional help.

The vss is the vehicle speed sensor. The stock HU probably had a connection to the VSS because of the volume (it increases as the speed increases so the volume doesn't sound different with the increase in cabin noise). If you call a Crutchfield Tech they can probably help you out...
