Hello Everyone! I Have A 014 Explorer Limited With Out The Towing Package Is It Possible For The Ford Dealer To Install One Or I Have To Buy An Aftermarket Package? Thanks!

MY experience has always been i could go either way but it may be different where you live,why not give the ford dealer a call abd ask the service manager.

Search is your friend. This has been discussed ad nauseum.

Chances are dealer will charge you way more money than you want to spend for a $575 factory option.

I put a class lll hitch at dealer. But they only put a 4 pin. So I had the camper place swap it. So make sure you get the eight now.other than that towed my3500lb camper with family ,bike on roof for 2 yrs. Only used manual in steep incline.i would put it in 5 or 4 on stew grades and go.
