Air Conditioning Question

It's very common if the AC unit is low on Freon for the passenger side to become warm and then shortly thereafter the driver's side becomes warm. My problem was that I had a very slow leak in a strange area and semi difficult to detect, certainly not when connected to the machine, too slow of leak. I'm fairly confident it's filled to capacity, it works great.

If you're unsure of how many pounds are in the system this will get you pretty close.

Put vehicle in shade open all doors put AC on max.
Rev engine to 900-1200 rpm.
Large shop fan in front of condenser.
High side pressure should be 2.2 to 3 times the ambient (in the shade) temperature. Wherever in that range gets you the coldest center vent temp.

This varies a lot, but is just a rough rule of thumb.
