I didn't know Airaid even made one for the 5.0. There is Airmax. There's also an eBay seller who has MAC for sale. Maybe contact the seller and see if they in fct have them in stock. If they're ordering direct from MAC, you may have a problem.

The MAC is a great setup. The Airmax isn't my cup of tea, That spiral thingy reminds me too much of the Tornado (i.e. snake oil).

I have asked the seller if he actually has them IN STOCK or is ordering/drop ship to the buyer ....will let you know ....also asked what kind of filter it is....K&N or a knockoff ....we shall see......

The mac filter is a mac branded filter, it's similar to the K&N. When mine got dirty I replaced it with an amsoil filter.

+1 on the Amsoil. Who needs oil on a filter to foul up you MAF?

Not me.

Because this new mountaineer is just depressing in it's lack of anything resembling power. And I'll have to do something different for the new motor anyway.

LOL, yeah I'd have a hard time going back to a stock Explorer/Mounty especially now that I've got the headers. :D

I thought you were not going to get rid of it .....how much????? My zip is 74820

yeah, and just imagine mine was a good chunk faster than yours is even now.

I've changed my mind, I thought I would want to keep it on this one for a while, but it's just not enough to keep my happy and leaves me wanting so much more. So I think it's best to just leave it bone stock and not tempt myself any more that absolutely necessary.

$140 shipped, the tube is in great shape. The bracket was bent up a little in the rollover but I got it mostly straightened out. And it has an amsoil oil less filter on it that is less than 6 months old. You just vacuum them out and they're good to go, no cleaning kits/oiling required. If you think that's to much let me know.
