Hey everyone,
I have been having a problem with my alarm system on my Ex. Everytime you lock it and walk away from it, it will go off within 3-10 minutes. Its gone off at school, sitting outside of my house, just about everywhere. No matter how you try to lock it manually or with the key fob it does the same thing. I did a little research and saw a few people with the same thing but with no solutions other then cutting the old factory system wire. Here is the kicker, found out that it has a ProLock Auto Security System that was previously installed by another owner. Did a little research on google and came up with nothing about the system other then it has some sort of key for it so it will start, but i have no key and it starts up just fine. I have been having this problem for about 6 months or so and havent gotten around to fixing it because dealing with wiring problems is always a pain and i have no information on the system. I have had the vehicle for about 3 years and just in the last 6 months it started this. Has anyone else on here had this problem? And has anyone else heard of ProLock? You're help would be greatly appreciated, I just got it back up and running a few weeks ago with a remanufactured motor and would love to be able to lock it and not have to always leave one door unlocked so it wont go off.
Thanks for the help!
