Not that it's any of your business , but I'm gonna pay my parents for the cost of the car, while they pay insurance and gas like they have been since I was 16. I paid for Splat and most of the mods, too.

My son drives a brand new Lexus ES300 he makes the payments on, he's in college. The payment is about $600. He owns his own business and does really well.

Kids nowadays find all sorts of ways to make money while they're in school. Really impressive actually.

Nope, life has been busy and I've been away from my home computer.

Unfortunately, when in med school the hospital does not pay you, it's the other way around.

Not only that, after you do finish and have over $100,000 in student loans, they then make you work 80-100 hours a week for just $35,000 a year.

Eventually though it starts to pay off (the loans that is ).

35,000 a year. You going to be a ER doc or somthing? You could make alot more than that depending on what kind of docotr you want to be.

Thats the residency.

Like I've said, doctor's have it tough, its a hard profession to get into.

Then when they start you know, earning a living equivelent to their skill, they have to pay $50-100k a year in malpractice insurance. Sick.

No, as a resident (3 to 5 years depending on specialty) they pay you around $35,000 or so, depending on where you live. After residency, you can earn a bit more. Well, unless you do a fellowship, where they pay you maybe $50,000 if you're lucky. All of your friends who did domething else like business or law are earning much more with less school.

And Emergency Medicine can pay quite well depending on how much you work.

As for malpractice, $100,000 is very reasonable today. There is one neurosurgeon who has to pay $497,000 each year for malpractice insurance. So basically he has to earn half a million just to break even.

No pics for a while, at least until the 3rd or 4th.

Current mods:
$1000 of stereo, conversion of factory rear fog spaces to brake lamps, and conversion to 2002 headlamps with integrated fogs.

On the horizon: painting of front emblem to black, race shift linkage.

Future: 2 more fogs in bumper, badgeless grille, intake, maybe new shifter/ebrake handle.
