Is an alignment necessary after swapping out the shocks and/or swaybars? I was initally going to lower it and get it aligned, and later add the EE swaybars and Edelbrock shocks, but then thought the shocks/swaybar replacement could mess up the alignment that was done after the lowering. Basically dont want to end up paying for an alignment 2 or 3 times when i could just throw everything on at once and only get one alignment.

Shocks and swaybars shouldn't affect alignment.

The only time you need an alignment is when you change the geometry of your front suspension.

the old rumor that you need an alignment when you replace shocks is partially true- by the time the shocks wear out, the front will proly need an alignment. it actually has nothing to do with new shocks.

Hartman/Alec are correct- you will not need an alignment with shock and/or swaybar change.

most excellent.....
time to lower it (finally). Thanks guys

Who sells the Honest Charley airdam like Hartman has?

Why would shocks have anything to do with it? The torsion bars and leaf springs are what decide the ride height. If your torsion bars wore out then it would ride lower. If your shocks wear out it will ride at the same height but will ride like crap.
