:D

I still smile whenever I watch my video of that one supercharged blue one destroying his rear tires last year :bounce:

This year I plan on hunting down neat/original mods on show cars to gather ideas for my rebuild, so anyone planning on dragging me through the show field at warp speed *coughcoughPARLIcoughcough* will be in for a rude surprise :nono:

Wait 'till ya hear mine this year...hehehehehehehehe....let's just say things flow a little less restricted now...:D:D:D:D

Second that, got calipers and some new brake upgrade goodies to put on before then. Also, some under coating and a polish is all she's going to get.

Don't know that I have much work to do for the show. The only reason that I have work to do is to make sure my rig is ready to wheel Sunday. Not even sure that its gonna get a bath.

It will probably look like this....

I had wanted to get my beadlocks done, but I think I'm gonna try to find a deal on some steel wheels at the show.

Cool, so we've still got more people coming than last year, at least :)

Adam inspired me to a funny idea in an AIM chat the other evening... We should have our own awards! So far I've got:

Most Ghetto
Most Rustastic
Most Likely to Scare a Soccer Mom Off The Road

I need two more, anyone wanna contribute? :D We can only include trucks that make it to the show. I'll make us some official looking awards and ballot cards for everyone to fill out (hell, maybe I'll even put out a ballot box for passers-by to vote, LOL) and possibly come up with some actual prizes.

What do you guys think?

We right now. The truck is on the operating table and does't look good.
I had posted a week or two ago that the truck new engine started to overheat and had a little leak inthe radiator. Well after chaging all that I notice white smoke coming out of the tail pipe. Which is a sign of collant getting into the cylinder and getting mixed with gas when it fires.

I had pulled all the spark plugs and change them. I notice I i believe is cylider number 5
was clean too clean. And had the smell of antifreeze not good.
So I finally got around to get the truck to the mechanic which is installed the engine. They think its the blown head gasket.
They pulled the top of the engine apart to fine #5 Piston Looking brand new and no carbon build up on the piston head.
And the gasket good.
Looks like the cylinder head has warped and the little indictor which tell you if the engine has overheated have melted. Which means the engine company wh rebuilt the engine will not cover the cylider heads.
So right now the cylider heads are at a local machine shop to see if the heads warped??????

If they can't be fixed looks like I'm looking for new cylider heads and have little to no time before the show coming up.
And to make things worse the tires and rims are sitting int the truck with the new spacers and I ca't get them put on till after all this is taken care of or if it can be taken care of.

moraning
mostly not going make it down the street

whats up sheep boy :D

sorry to hear about the engine.. damn you just got it rebuilt right?

Wow..that sucks Chris...

I'll sell ya a good wheeler with a good motor for $2900 :) :) :)

parli22!! You dont have to bring your white Explorer -- I'm showing up w/o mine!

If I didn't show up with the white truck it wouldn't be carisle.
Also I don't have another truck. The other my wife use and is her ca and I can't take that away from her for 2 days.
Right now I should have the truck back.
Had to have the heads sent out turns out the engine over heated big time temp when over 200 degree and warped the heads good.
Right now looking like no later then wednesday I will have the truck back.
But now I have to find the time to get the tire and rims on and two small electrical projects done on the truck and get the coil spacer under the front coils.
Also I don't know how much this is going to run me from the machine shop or mechanic. Also this is not going to be covered by the warrantry from the engine company. Fun part is I replaced all the parts that they recommand on replacing when replacing the engine. and this still happens!!!!
That in only two weekends but next weekend camp so have no time

Chris

fyi,, ,trying to sell my x,, if anyones interested, great shape,, Monmix, i know u want another toy to play w/ in the dc traffic! I'll probably be out, had to go see my grand parents in wva this past weekend, 160 bucks in gas, in a 24 hour period, and now i'll be going Myrtle beach on june 1st, for a week or so,, so, once again, take pics, and keep the write ups comming, d

Hey, ya crazy middle-east coasters. ;)

I'll be at the show this year, but primarily with the Mark VIII crew. I'll be riding with my buddy, though, so I'll see what our time frame is as far as wheeling. I know a few of you were drinking/wheeling a couple new years days ago when I was visiting friends in Duncannon, and were out wayyy too late/early to meet up but that's ok. I'm sure I'll get a chance to come meet some of ya. Spas, I've still got your cell number from last time, so expect a call. One possibly sober, and hopefully one rather inebriated!! :)

Right now the truck is back but going back to the shop And the engine company is not going to cover any part of the cost ($950)for repairs and now I having electrical issuses with the truck after all this work. The headlights are cutting in and out and the dash lights are not coming on in the dash board after all the work from las week and the temp gauge is not working right.

On another not SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT sucks. They have wrong infomation in the computer regards to the explorer bolt pattern. And the idiots at the tire shop didn't dry fit the rims to make sure they fit the truck. So now I have (4) cragiar Black rims 15x8 with stems. Bolt pattern 5x5.5 and they should be 5x4.5. So if anyone interested in some rims PM me.

Also on another note if anyone needs a Rim American Racing Baja 15x10 with 5x4.5 pattern Drop a line CHEAP to get rid of!!!
