Hmmm....now just to sort out the logistics. I have two old wheels and tyres and a couple of axle stands, just need to get the wheels over to the workshop.

It turns up that to remove chrome covers from a rims isn’t a problem at all, you won't damage ones, it took me 2 minutes to remove. all ford does is to glue ones to the rims with some epoxy glue or something, as time goes all get rusty under the cover and that’s what cause covers to go off the rims, thing is once you'll take covers off rims looks good, my weekend project is to clean and sand ones prepare to paint and paint. Angle grinder with wire brush does the job brilliantly, just put a coat of paint on one, will wait till tomorrow to put a second one, rims looks good, BIG THANKS JIM for letting me have ones, BTW still waiting for your reply to my pm.
