Almost joined the Rollover group....

So Ive got an 06 X...XLT...4.0 V6 with Auto 4x4.

I was driving down a country road..and decided I needed to make a u-turn. So I swing it....make the turn...and then get ready to straight it out...the right tires were in the grass..when all of a sudden the right rear tire sinks in. There was a drainage ditch that wasnt viewable with the grass covering it. The grass was touching the right side windows...thats how sideways I was. My Left front wheel was off the ground about 8 inches (guessing). When it started tipping..I gunned it....to the floor...the front started spinning with teh rears and it pulled it up and back onto the road. The rear bumper had grass clogged all up it...and the right side had mud on it...up to the windows. So I was damn close to rolling my ex. Wish I woulda had pix...but I wasnt stopping to check it out. 4 people in the car....all scared as s***.


So then on my ride home I was playing with a mustang GT. We were playing..but teh GT wouldnt go above 90. Obivously it kicked my a**...but it was fun while it lasted.

So yeah...pretty big oops...I definitly thought I was going for a roll.

the puddles were just for fun....didnt tear up much. it looked a lot worse than it was. But this almost rollover was scary...I mean...when making a uturn on a tight road its usually acceptable to go in the grass a little. But ya...the X is in trouble if I keep having these problems.

Just wanted to add to another oops:

I was driving down Rt 1 near bethany today..and saw a suburban ahead of me swerving...its a 2 lane road with a 35 mph speed limit (little slow for hte road). I raced to catch up....mainly to warn others....he was close to running others off the road every minute...he wasnt brakeking....just swerving to pass in the grass or in teh other lane. When I caught up...I was going about 85-90. Keeping pace. I was about to call 911 when I watched them run into a jersey wall...go about 3 feet up..and come back down almost landing on a mini-cooper. I called 911 and gave location and vehicle type and stuff. The suburban then turned off and went into a housing complex...where I guess police arrived. So pretty adventurous day.
