Alpine Type-R Components question...

I'm looking at getting either the 5.25 or the 6.5 components for both front and back. I was wondering, how much more difficult the install will be with 6.5's vs. the 5.25's with a pre-fabricated mounting bracket? Obviously, I'm not going to buy them from Crutchfield, but they do offer a mounting bracket for the 5.25. Any ideas would be greatly apprecieated.
