Alternator HELP!!!

ok i got the old one off and the new one on, but now the ####n belt is given me ****, i cant get the belt to loosen up, i tried to follow the diagram thats just under the hood of the car of how to loosen and tighten the belt but that **** didnt help me one bit, can someone please help!?!?!?

Is it on all of the pulleys except the alternator? It will need to be fully seated and lined up in all of the other pulleys before it will go over the alternator pulley.

Welcome to this forum! Hold the belt tensioner, and try to slip the belt over the last pulley closer to the top to make it easier to catch the pulley.

If your trying to get it on a pully that has a lip then it wont go on, you need to slip it on a ideler pully or the tensioner that is smooth
