Altezza Light for 97 X

Where are the altezza lights i heard someone was supposed to come out with some. Where are they. I want some badly. I love the look.

They don't fit!!! I e-mailed several of the winners on past auctions for them. They leave a gap.

oh man, they don't fit? they are much nicer than the ones at clearlights. i just emailed the sellere asking about the fit and return policy. i'll keep ya updated when i hear back. why sell something that doesn't fit? sounds stupid to me.

They do bolt right in, but there is a gap between the top of the lights and the liftgate. If you can live with it, they will work.

Ok there's a whole bunch of mis-information in this thread.

1. The altezzas on eBay that claim to be for 95-97s are NOT for those years. They are 98+, the seller is misinformed and obviously does not know what he is talking about.

2. 98+ altezzas will not properly fit 95-97 models.

3. 95-97 altezza lights are still in factory production, but are not for sale yet. They should be for sale in the summer, here is a picture of them:

They do bolt right in, but there is a gap between the top of the lights and the liftgate. If you can live with it, they will work.

i was just going to say what hartman did. they sound like the 98 version and they are. i guess us 95-97's have been screwed again!

and for the record, this seller must be a complete retard. to not know what you're selling, that has to be a violation or something. it's BS i f you aske me. if i was just someone who didn't know better and bought these i would be pissed.

yes i got them and am very disapointed, this piece of sh*t scumbag that is selling on e-bay is a loser. The lenses dont fit correctly, they fit but there is a big space like you said, i looked on the box and it says 95-97 explorer and I peeled back the sticker and underneath it says 98 explorer they are 98 lenses that they are passing off to people as 95-97 lenses. Do not buy them unless you want lenses with a 3 inch gap. Hideous looking. Later, Erik

well, they are not done yet. at least not available for sale yet, and i hope the smokes and carbons look better than the regular altezzas.

heres the reply i got from the seller of the 95-97 altezzas on ebay:

We are selling alot of these light at no complain.
Prof installer is highly recommeded!
10 days warranty after you received the product, the warranty is only toward non working item


so like hartman said, BUYER BEWARE.
