Amp Idea

This may be a very dumb question but here we go: I'm shoping around for an amp to power one Kicker 12" L5. It has dual voice coils at 2 ohms and 600 rms. Can I buy a 2 channel amp and wire a channel to each voice coil? In that case would I get a 300x2? Is this even possible. Please enlighten me...Thanks

yeah you can do that. Normally you would just run a mono amp, but a 2 channel will do just fine

yeah thats called bridging and does up the wattage. works great.
