- 1997 Mercury Mountaineer
Hello to everyone:
I own a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 liter v8 AWD. It has developed a cracked EGR tube. Does anyone know the size of the brass fittings on the top and bottom of the EGR tube? I have tried many wrenches and cannot seem to get a wrench in the area. Can you give me suggestions or quick fixes on the tube?
Is there any way to bypass the egr tube by capping it off if it is just dead space?
