cool, but way too pretty. chrome suspension pieces are gay. not that it would be THAT useable offroad anyway.

it would, however, make a nice tow rig.;)

whoa:eek: thats massive, sweet!

www.jimmyhat.com and you can see how big it is with everybody standing in front of it, that poor Suburban:D

F-650? I've got a very canny eye, all that is, is a F-350 Dually with a fiberglassed front off of a semi truck :) it's still cool

until i see a Ford F-650 mass produced its what i say it is

sorry, MO GUY, they are mass-produced.

well i have never seen one, with the exception of this thing

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe those weren't/aren't offered with 4wd so he had to do a 4wd conversion as well.

That truck, or one VERY similar to it, can be seen driving around my city almost daily. It is HUGE, and he drives like he owns the road. I'm scared of it/him in my lifted Ex. . .I can't imagine what all the lowered rice burners on the road feel.

There's a pic somewhere on here of him jumping it.
here it is: Dead Link Removed

And as for being a great tow vehicle, he tows a 21' ski boat with it, and the boat looks like a toy behind the thing.

And yes, it is an F-650. . .usually they aren't seen with the 'stock' dually bed though.

That guy is a member on the F-150 site. He had a F-250 that was huge but he kept getting tickets for it being too big, then he found out the laws concerning commercial vehicles are easier to get around. So, he built this truck. It is a F-650 that was bought as a 2wd and he had it converted.
The really cool thing about it...he wheels it.

I saw this truck a while back. What it is is an F-650 front half. It is "officially " a commercial vehicle. He took a bed from an F-350 and put it in back. The suspension is all custom, as I'm sure everyone can see. He said he's been pulled over several times as the cops can't believe it's street legal, but it is.

So yes, MO_GUY, it is an F-650 and it is mass produced. Most are sold with just a bare frame in the back, and you've probably seen hundreds of them, only with delivery truck boxes on them, or as a tow truck, etc.

Bingo... it was in one of the 4x4 magazines awhile back

This is what I'd like to do in that truck

You get pulled over, and the cop says I'm givin you a ticket. and you tell him no your not! He looks at you stunned. and you say you give that ticket and I back up! HHEEE HHEEE! I know you'd get in a mess a trouble but it would be funny as hell!

Wonder what kind of gas mileage that thing gets?

Just curious. But I know it sucks.

is it just me, or is the front end being held up by those cylindrical things ??

you are correct. those are relativly new to the pre-runner world. they are called "hydro-jumpers". basically, they are mounted under the bumper, and when the truck approaches a jump, the driver hits the button. a high pressure pump hits them with 20,000 PSI, and they ram the ground, so the truck will carry the nose through the air and not hit the ground nose-first. although, they are not really needed on a truck with even weight distribution, only on trucks like the 650, which are very nose heavy.
