I saw this truck a while back. What it is is an F-650 front half. It is "officially " a commercial vehicle. He took a bed from an F-350 and put it in back. The suspension is all custom, as I'm sure everyone can see. He said he's been pulled over several times as the cops can't believe it's street legal, but it is.
So yes, MO_GUY, it is an F-650 and it is mass produced. Most are sold with just a bare frame in the back, and you've probably seen hundreds of them, only with delivery truck boxes on them, or as a tow truck, etc.

If you have to ask...
you are correct. those are relativly new to the pre-runner world. they are called "hydro-jumpers". basically, they are mounted under the bumper, and when the truck approaches a jump, the driver hits the button. a high pressure pump hits them with 20,000 PSI, and they ram the ground, so the truck will carry the nose through the air and not hit the ground nose-first. although, they are not really needed on a truck with even weight distribution, only on trucks like the 650, which are very nose heavy.Originally posted by N2MUDN91
is it just me, or is the front end being held up by those cylindrical things ??
