I hear a mild clunk when my vehicle is moving from 5 - 15mph. It doesn't happen all the time and it is not a constant noise; however, it can happen every 3 secs. or so. It is coming from the left wheel of my car and could possibly be coming from the front axle.

Thanks

Mike -

Does the 91 mean you have a 91 Explorer?? If you have a 97 or newer, there's a known problem with the GEM unit recalibrating and causing clunking during acceleration. THere's supposed to be a software fix coming down the pike.

Brian -
Thanks for the info. - you are correct, I have a 91 Explorer. Actually, I had a chance to take a better look under the car today and noticed that on the opposite side (passenger), the bolt that connects the sway bar to the links was almost off. Glad I noticed it.
