Sounds to me like the intake O-rings are hard/brittle and
leaking. Especially considering the high miles...
That's where my thought process is going, too. Seems like the problem gets worse as it gets colder. I'm planning on going through all of the vacuum lines as well. I didn't find any leaking, but they're very brittle.
I keep waiting for it to warm up a bit (at least into the 50s) before I do the IM gaskets, but I'm not sure the truck is going to let me wait that long...
