Antenna caught on a tree and is now missing. I could not find the old piece(s), I think they went flying into the brush. I can't figure out how a new antenna mast gets fastened to the shiny metal piece that looks like something used to go in it. The metal part in the middle has no threads on the inside and is smooth walled and maybe 1/2" deep and is a smooth edge across the top. It is a machine cut across the top so it didn't just snap off (I think). I never saw what it looked like before inside and can't find any good pictures or diagrams that depict how the mast gets fastened into what I have left. Any help on explaining how the new mast would be fastened to what remains or even better what to buy and where. I would be happy to buy a used one. This is a fixed mast and not one that goes up & down.
